About Tradition and the Golf Course...

Riverbend Country Club is a traditional, private, full service Members Owned Country Club located in the heart of Sugar Land just 25 minutes south of downtown Houston, Texas. Established in 1957, Riverbend Country Club has provided recreation, fun and camaraderie for our Members and Guests in a truly private environment.

Club amenities include 18 holes of Championship golf, fine and casual dining, tennis, swimming, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and one of the most exquisite locker room facilities in Houston. The Club is committed to maintaining a beautiful golf course, exceptional amenities, friendly personalized service, and a tradition of Membership by Invitation.

The Importance of Trees
Set among 50 year old pecan and live oak trees, the golf course plays from four sets of tee boxes. The course has water on 14 holes and we maintain our greens at medium to faster speeds. Many mature trees line the fairways, and we continue to enhance the course every year with a yearly budget of $9,000 designated specifically for new trees.
